The GCF of two numbers is 23 and their LCM is 1449. If one of the numbers is 161, find the other number.

Let x be the other
number.

Given that the GCF(  x  , 161) =
23...............(1)

Given that x and 161 has the LCM =
1449..........(2).

We know that  LCM (x , 161) =
x*161/(GCF)

So,  x*161/23 =
1449

x = 1449*23/161

x =
207.

Threfore the other number is
207.

Tally :

161 =
23*7

207 = 23*3*3

So the GCF =
23

LCM = 23*7*3*3 = , Considering  all the factors but
common factors for both  16 14491 and 207 only once.

Comment on the setting and character of "The Fall of the House of Usher."How does setting act as a character?

Excellent observation, as it identifies how the settings of Poe's stories reflect the characters of their protagonists. Whet...
